Jonathan took a few days off last week and I happened to not have any work on one of those days, so we thought we would dust the cobwebs off our bikes and go for a little bike ride. We hadn’t ridden our bikes in so long, one of my tires required a new hose. So $4.99 later we were on our way.
Now this was supposed to be just a leisurely ride on the trail so I didn’t put on the necessary support system for the ladies. Man, I wish I had. There was a portion of the trail where the tree roots were going under the pavement which caused a little rough jiggling…no, more like jarring. It reminded me of when my family would take our annual camping trip that would take us over the bumpiest highway known to man. My friend and I would sit in the back of the tuck with our arms crossed over our chests to keep the ladies stable. It was a very uncomfortable trip each year.
So our leisurely bike ride turned into a 15 mile “fun” ride. Not only were the ladies uncomfortable, by the end of the ride I was in dire need of a doughnut pillow to sit on for the rest of the week. I used to think that I could stand to loose of few layers of fat from my rump, now I think I could use a few extra layers before my next bike ride. Or at least silicone implants to cushion the blows.

You crack me up. Just get one of the gel cusion seats and you will be on your way. As far as the “ladies” go I am right there with you. A good ol sports bra or 2 will do the trick!
I am so SO glad that I don’t have anything to jiggle, I can go bra-less and it’s not an issue
Gretawire.com had a poll tonite, which is more outrageous, $4.00 for a cup of coffee or $4.50 for a gallon of gas. I’d like to hear your thoughts on this, honey. I say, if i wanna pay $5.00 for an iced french vanilla non-fat latte, that’s my decision ~ at gretawire.com folks don’t seem to be agreeing with me in the poll, but in the blog they are xoxoxoxoxox.
ps, i think your Dad might agree with me about the coffee, let me know
