Thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday. Aside from my sour attitude in the morning and most of the afternoon my birthday was great. My mood finally came around and I had a wonderful evening with my family and friends.

A few years ago Jonathan and I signed up for the free dinner at The Keg on your birthday and ever since then it has become somewhat of a tradition to celebrate our birthdays there. And what a wonderful dinner it was. I was stuffed to the brim with creaser salad, fresh warm rolls, a juicy teriyaki steak with lobster tails, garlic mashed potatoes, and melted garlic butter. Mmmm, finger lick’n good. Thanks to my parents who provided the delicious cheese cake with cherry topping. That was to die for.

What did I get for my birthday you ask?

365 Dessert Recipes. If the dinner I had didn’t break the scale, just looking at this book most certainly will.

This book is heavy and huge. You have to use a forklift to hoist it up onto the counter. It puts all my other cookbooks to shame. Look how thick it is.

It’s this thick because it has pictures for every recipe. Just what I like. I want to know what I’m making is supposed to look like. If it doesn’t look good, I ain’t make’n it!

I also got some movie tickets. And not just any movie tickets, PREMIERE SUPER SAVER MOVIE TICKETS from Costco. With the price of movies now a days, this is the way to go. I will be using them in a couple of weeks for what I hope will be my all time favorite movie!

Can you guess now? No it’s not a back massager. IT’S A CAMERA STAND! I love to take picture, but I get so discouraged when I have taken over 100 pictures and I only get 1 good one because I shake too much. Maybe I should cut back on the coffee? But the French Vanilla Coffee Mate is SO GOOD!.
