Has your butt ever fallen asleep? You know, like when your butt cheeks are completely numb it feels like there is nothing between the top of your legs and your lower back and then it feels like you are sitting on pins and needles when it is coming back to life? This has been a reoccurring thing for me lately and it’s annoying and weird. See I sometimes sit at the computer for 6 to 8 hours a day working and on occasion I have numb butt syndrome. I think this is partly due to the fact that I am sitting in a folding chair and not a comfortable office chair. So here is where I need your help. I am looking for a new office chair that is comfortable and will put my butt at ease. Does anybody have a great office chair that they would recommend? I was looking at Costco Business this morning and found this…

It looks comfortable, but after 6 hours of sitting even the most comfortable chair can quickly become uncomfortable. Please enlighten me. What is cushioning your rear?

Hi Kaydee, it’s Holly. Betcha didn’t know I watch your blog.
I don’t really have a chair to recommend. I bought the cheapest thing I could find and now it’s busted; but I put a cushion on it and that has helped. It’s just one of those cushions they make for dining room chairs that tie on. Maybe one of those could hold ya over and save your bum until you find the chair you want.
Mostly I just wanted to say ‘Hi’ and let you know I’m listening. So, Hi!
Hi Holly! I’m glad that you watch my blog. I secretly watch yours too. Thanks for stopping by to say hi. Hi back at you!
welcome back!
my suggestion on a work chair is a nice comfy recliner. at least that’s what i wish i had at work. might not get as much work done, but at least your rear will be cushioned. and that’s a sacrifce i’d be willing to make.
A recliner would be great, but you’re right, I probably would fall asleep. Could it be a massage recliner?
