Leap
February 29, 2008 by Kaydee
I could hardly wait to post today because it’s Leap Day. Leap Day reminds me of the movie Brigadoon except Leap Day comes every 4 years not every hundred, and we don’t sleep through those 4 years, and well…there really aren’t any similarities, but I am reminded of the movie anyway.
Since we have any extra day this month, I thought I would put it to good use and share some things I never got around to posting about because I was too busy reading other blogs and totally forgot that I have a blog of my own.
1. U23D
We went and saw U23D at the beginning of the month. If you don’t know already, U2 is the best bestest band in the whole entire universe and I cannot get enough of them. The movie was fantastic. I was on the edge of my seat singing and grooving to every song. We were so close to Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr., and Adam Clayton that you could lick the sweat off of Bono’s brow, swat The Edge’s backside, play more cow bell with Larry, and feel the vibrations of Adam’s bass in your chest. It was awesome!!
2. The WGA Strike Is Over.
Finally the writers can get back to satisfying my need to watch Jim and Pam, Dwight, Michael and everyone else on The Office. Oh how I have missed thee.
3. Running.
Jonathan and I started running again this week. I say again because we started at the end of last summer and then quit during the winter. (I’m a wimp. I won’t run when it’s raining or snowing.) I only made it 2 out of the 3 days this week. Due to the fact that it’s not light enough when Jonathan comes home from work, he is forcing me to get up at 4:30 am (when it’s dark) and go running. What’s the difference I ask? Dark when you get home versus dark at 4:30 am. No diff honey!
Well that’s all I can think of right now. I know there is more, but I have more pressing things that need to be done than rambling on about my favorite pair of ears I lost, my unusual addiction to Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries cereal lately, and the fact that I am very disappointed about Big Brother this season and yet I can’t stop watching it.
Hope you all use your extra day this month wisely.

i must admit that i too am addicted to special k… however, i never eat it for breakfast, always as supper. delish!
i am also addicted to special k…
