Okay, I’m trying to hold out as long as I can before admit defeat and turn up the heat. I rather enjoy the $35 dollar a month heating bill versus the $100+ heating bill that we have to endure from October to about March. It is not that it is freezing outside quite yet, but as I said in my previous post, it is rainy, gloomy, and the Fall 69º does not exactly feel like the Summer 69º. I don’t mean to brag, but I think last week Jonathan and I got in the hot tub every night but one to get warm to the bone before climbing into bed for the night.
I am such a meany about the “no heat yet” issue too. A couple of days ago Jonathan and I were watching a movie and he got up and turned on the fireplace. I told him that if he was cold to put on a sweatshirt, socks, wrap up in a blanket, and if he was still cold, then he could turn on the fireplace. He went and put on a sweatshirt, socks, came back to the chair wrapped up in a blanket, sat down, and said “I’m still cold.” I laughed and told him tough. He would warm up eventually.
There is a plus side to the weather changing though. My legs get to don their winter coat because the shaving becomes farther and fewer between, which also helps hold the socks up.

There was this gal that I knew in High School. I think she had a crush on me (do gals get crushes in high school?). Her legs always had a winter coat … even in summer. I never dated her. I couldn’t get past the matted hair under the nylons.
