Procrastination And Public Awareness

I don’t have any work today!! With that said, there is always work to be done. I just won’t be doing any of it.
Okay, I am doing laundry because it has started to pile up again, but as far as the dishes in the sink, the mounds of paper to be shredded, it will have to wait until another day. I just don’t feel like doing it right now and I am okay with that. I would much rather be stamping. Yes, I am addicted to Stampin’UP! I love to make cards. I am currently trying to make a batch of cards to sell at a craft party that is coming up. I will be selling cards like…

And this…

And this…

So as you can see, there is no time for frivolous house chore when there is real work to be done.
Now to the woman I saw today who was walking for exercise while talking on her ridiculously huge headset with boom mic. Do you not know how pathetic you look? Are you so busy that you can’t even put down the cell phone and step away from your work to exercise? I am sad for you. What is wrong with us? What did we do before we had remote controls, answering machines, cell phones, etc.? I can tell you, we actually had a life. I was listening to a radio program the other day about how we have become so overworked, stressed, and consumed with life that we are running ourselves into the ground. I have an idea, let’s all start a revolution. Lets get rid of our cell phones, answering machines and call waiting, t.v., lap tops, iPods, and debit cards and go back to a simpler less stressful way of living. Be more family oriented. Whose with me? Oh, I have to go, the phone is ringing, someones at the door, and my favorite t.v. program is about to start.

Beautiful cards!! I will buy a stack of Thank You notes.
Love, Mom
